Equipment/working environment Pictures of a rabbit, a bear, a moose, a deer, a boar, a lynx, a squirrel and their footprints, a paper and pens, task card, forests
Aims To learn to recognize animals and their footprints, to learn to observe the nature
Remarks You can use toys instead of the pictures of the animals

Description of the exercise:

Customers try to recognize animal’s footprints and combine the right animal and right footprint together and name them in three languages, in Finnish, in German, in English. There are one footprint less than animals, but the customers doesn’t know that.

Instructions for the advisor:

  1. Give pictures of animals and animal’s footprints to the customer
  2. Give instructions, paper and pens to the customer for performing the task.

Instructions for clients:

  1. Recognize animal’s footprints and combine the right animal and right footprint together. Write the answer in Finnish, in German, in English.
